City and County Records

The Cities and Counties Collection contains over 3,000 records.  Documents include correspondence, business letters, programs, legal records, newspaper clippings, minutes, photographs, and many other items of interest to the public. 

Clubs and Organizations

The clubs and organizations collection contains photographs, newsletters, clippings, programs, scrapbooks, minutes as well as other historical documents.

General Photograph Collection

The General Photograph Collection contains over 7,000 photographs, covering the development of Corpus Christi beginning in the late nineteenth century and continuing well into the twentieth century.

McGregor Collection

As a photographer for the Caller and Times newspapers he documented the daily news and events of the city. The collection consists of more than 3,000 photographs documenting the history of Corpus Christi during the 1930s and 1940s.

Louis De Planque

Louis De Planque traveled throughout the South Texas region photographing the families of the area.

Murphy D. Givens Audio Clips

These audio clips are from his radio commentary on local history which airs each Friday on KEDT-FM.

Post Cards

This collection consists of over 300 postcards documenting the history of Corpus Christi and Nueces County.
